Black & White Gallery

I just wanted to let everyone know that a new black & white landscape gallery will soon be featured on my website! I have always been intrigued by the power and timelessness of a black & white photograph. This began back when I only used film and has stayed with me even as I move more and more into the digital realm.

Here are a few of samples from the upcoming Black & White Gallery:

The Grandeur of Glacier

I got back Monday night from an absolutely incredible trip to Glacier National Park in Montana. It was my first time to Glacier and I must say that my expectations were met and exceeded by the beauty of this place.

Here are a couple examples from my photo shoot that will be available for purchase soon. Let me know if you would like information about purchasing any prints.

Vancouver Island

I recently had the opportunity to visit Vancouver Island for the second time - what a grand and majestic place to photograph! I was able to visit an amazing old-growth forest and the pacific coast of the island (along with all of its dense fog that inevitably rolls in).

The photograph below was taken right in the heart of the island at the top of a river bank as this large male black bear moved on down the river looking for a new place to forage. Please contact me if you are interested in purchasing this print.

This photograph of the pacific coastline was taken well after the sun had set. The 18 second exposure along with the ambient light from a nearby building allowed the last bit of color and light from the day to be captured...resulting in a bold, vibrant image.

Smoky Mountains Photo Shoot

Here are some of the photographs that I recently took in the Smokies while finalizing our itinerary for the upcoming fall photography workshops. The final edits are being made on these as well as several other photographs and will be available for purchase on the online store very soon. If you would like more information about purchasing a print or about the specific locations that we will be visiting on our photo workshops to the Smokies, please contact me today!
