I recently had the opportunity to visit Vancouver Island for the second time - what a grand and majestic place to photograph! I was able to visit an amazing old-growth forest and the pacific coast of the island (along with all of its dense fog that inevitably rolls in).
The photograph below was taken right in the heart of the island at the top of a river bank as this large male black bear moved on down the river looking for a new place to forage. Please contact me if you are interested in purchasing this print.

This photograph of the pacific coastline was taken well after the sun had set. The 18 second exposure along with the ambient light from a nearby building allowed the last bit of color and light from the day to be captured...resulting in a bold, vibrant image.
